Configuring Apache well makes all the difference

Do you have a website? Does it run on Apache? Then you need to read this. Apache HTTPD is securely used as a web server on at least 70% of the Internet. It was created in 1995 and is available in versions for Windows operating systems, Novell, OS/2, Unix, Linux , FreeBSD, etc. Because it is Open Source, older and available for almost all operating systems, Apache has guaranteed its leadership on the Internet. Even though it is the most used server, its configuration is not so simple, since it allows for a very wide range of possibilities. Thus, correctly configuring your web server for your website, store or blog is very important for: - Increase site response speed -> Better ranking on Google

  • Configure HTTPS (secure site -> Google penalizes sites without the padlock)
  • Ensure that your site is safe from intruders
