In response to the closure of many of its global testing sites, the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) will offer online tests for candidates.
The LPI will begin offering the Linux Essentials and LPIC-1 (101 and 102) exams in English through the Pearson VUE OnVue system on May 31, 2020. Candidates will be able to take the exams and obtain certification at home. Exams and additional languages will be made available as soon as possible.
Candidates will be able to schedule their exams online starting May 31. Further instructions on the registration process and testing will be posted at https://www.lpi.org/coronavirus.
The prices and duration of the exams remain unchanged. For more details about our exams and exam process, see here
